My experience with the National Professional Qualification programme through the Harris Institute has been genuinely transformative for my professional practice and personal growth. What began as a qualification to enhance my career has evolved into a rich learning journey that has expanded my horizons far beyond my expectations.

From the very first session, I was struck by the carefully crafted learning environment that encouraged genuine collaboration. The programme's structure, built around the 'see it, name it, do it' framework, provided a perfect scaffold for professional growth. This practical approach meant that theoretical concepts were immediately connected to real-world application, allowing me to implement new strategies in my setting right away.

Perhaps the most unexpected benefit came from the diverse network I've built. The programme connected me with colleagues from contrasting school environments-from inner-city academies to rural settings, from schools with outstanding ratings to those on improvement journeys. Each setting offered valuable insights and different solutions to similar challenges.

During group discussions and collaborative activities, I discovered approaches I would never have considered within the confines of my own school. These cross-pollinated ideas have strengthened my professional toolkit immeasurably. The virtual school visits and case studies further expanded my understanding of effective practice across different contexts.

What sets this NPQSL programme apart is its immediate relevance. The knowledge gained on Friday's session could be applied in Monday's practice.
