RISE Universal Offer
The RISE Universal Offer provides CPD opportunities to schools across London and the East of England.
RISE Regional Plans:
We are pleased to confirm that the department has recently published their RISE regional plans on gov.uk. Every school in England can now access a regional plan setting out the local priorities and improvement support available in their area, focusing on the RISE priorities of attendance, attainment, reception quality and inclusive mainstream provision. This is a core part of the ambition set out in Every Child Achieving and Thriving, making sure all children receive a high-quality education, wherever they grow up, and making it easier for schools to find help and share what works.

The department has produced a set of slides outlining key information about relevant department hubs for RISE teams to support understanding and engagement with schools and other partners. Please see these attached for your use and information.

KS3 Alliance
Key Stage 3 represents a crucial stage in a young person's educational journey. The London Region KS3 RISE Alliance will focus on one of the key national priorities—Attainment in English and Maths—with a strong emphasis on foundational literacy and tackling the disadvantage gap.
Schools will have the opportunity to explore and develop projects in areas such as:
- Integrated literacy within Quality First Teaching
- Diagnostic assessment and phonics interventions at KS3
- High-impact literacy interventions
- Effective KS2–KS3 transition strategies
- Boys' reading and engagement
These projects will contribute to a growing evidence base of effective practice for KS3 education across London.
